- Please bring along a salad, dessert or nibbles to share if possible
- Keep Santa employed during the GFC - bring a present for the kids (or adults) (maximum value $10) But he can’t remember everyone’s name so write it clearly

Sausage Sizzle
Sausage Sizzle Bunnings Sunday 27 December - This will be our major fundraiser for the year. If anyone can help out on the day or can get us a good deal on sausages/ bread etc please let me know. Remember closed in shoes need to be worn when working in the stall.

Crit Racing
Crit racing on Saturday afternoons has been exciting and well patronized by riders from both clubs. Arthur and Bernie consider handicaps for all groups – hoping that we all finish on the same lap. Some riders have been improving each week which is great to see. We are very thankful to the regular helpers on the day.
Sunday MorningRide
Don’t forget the Sunday ride leaving River Cruz Cafe at 6.30am each Sunday.

Road Racing
Racing starts 18 April. Our first race is Birthamba Road South Kolan.
Gayndah Ride
Well once again we have ridden to Gayndah and some ridden back. I am sure that those who went agree that the weekend was a great success. The slow group can no longer be called the slow group – I reckon they should be called the FIRST group. What a great bunch of 11 riders they were – even 13 year old Kristina kept up the pace doing her turn at the front but not quite making it into Biggenden. There is always next year – oh no what am I saying . It is like that though you say “not Gayndah again - don’t think I can go the distance” but then riding in a bunch, stops along the way, wind assisting on the final leg – what are we complaining about. Its not that hard – especially when we pull together as a team and look after one another.
I have learnt that in organizing this ride maybe you are better not being too organized as there is always the unexpected at the last minute – does this mean let someone else take over next year?
I would like to thank Bernie who knows I get a little rattled when things don’t exactly the way I am hoping. He seems to have a knack of saying “everything is OK”. And I believe him - eventually.
Sarah who is the best treasurer I have ever known – working out prices so that we break even in the end and making the ride as affordable for every one as possible.
Of course May is now our chief lunch chef – you can always rely on the rolls/musili slice to be prepared expertly.
Then of course there are the keen riders – no matter which group they are in.
Well done everybody – You ought to be con grat ulat ed!!
